Drama-Evaluating performances

Reflecting on my filmed performance

1) Information was presented to the target audience by creating an advertisement and performing it. I’m not sure how to answer this question, as I wasn’t here on that day.

2) The things that could have been done to make it more informative for target audience is that the filming angles should have been more precise, talk louder, concentrate and plan well before starting to film. Watching back on the performances it was a little awkward for me but if I was there I would of made sure that the camera angle was precise and get people to talk louder.

3) Using drama, as a way of presenting was effective because we could empathy what people felt and it expresses what it is about rather than reading it.

4) Techniques that they could have included are voice projection, adding images and different angle shots.

5) The things that I learned about what is happening in my area are different events that are taking place in theatres around hackney and also the target audience for the event and when its on.

6) The things that they could have done to improve their presentation are making it clear who their target audiences is, the camera facing the actors faces and not their backs, they need to start concentrating more and not laugh.

7) Their acting was quite good as this is the first time they properly filmed. Their performance was effective because they had different ages of target audience and they played the role properly. The main thing that they need to work on is to empathise their role to be able to perform well.
